| Modeling with a salt paste. |
Grebennikova Elena is a teacher of children's club " Victoria" in Vladivostok.
Elena and her friend Tatyana Maiorova were occupied with children's creative work. They focused a great attention to modeling some things with salt pastry.
This fascinating work is easy for everyone. A salt pasty' s history has been known for ages. Some figures, made of pastry, were found in ancient Egypt. The pattern or figured spice-cakes have always been traditional in Russia. Elena and Tatyana are keeping on these traditions, including their rich imagination. They showed their mastery on March'16, 2000. |

| It was a demonstrative lesson for Japanese and Korean diplomats' wives. There was Chizuko Hirose - Japanese consul' s wife. The meeting was showed on local TV program. During two hours Japanese guests were carried away with art of pastry's modeling . It was the first time when some of them made a pastry and then created funny figures with their own hands. The lesson was finished as traditional Russian tea- drinking with pancakes and pies. The children (students of Victoria club) were communicating with guests. It was a very useful language practice for them. |
